Since a lot of the data is in MS Office Suites, let's use those Microsoft's own tools to make sense of what is contained therein.

Next steps would include data visualization, to "tell a story" bringing together in a succinct message all the disparate pieces. Other options for this are to use PowerPoint presentations as a medium to share data insights.
